What Do Sessions Look Like?
Intake Session:
Please have all paperwork finished prior to your intake session so I can streamline this process as much as possible!
Intake session will include a personal and family history interview, a brief overview of the therapy process, and a chance for you to ask any questions about working with me.
If the intake is for a minor (an individual under the age of 18), I do request that both the minor and at least one parent/guardian attend the intake session. The input from both with be helpful as I get to know you!
Therapy goals will be established taking input from both the intake paperwork and the interview. These will guide the work we do in our regular sessions.
Regular Sessions:
Sessions are 50 minutes in length.
I usually begin with a brief check-in of how things have been going since the last session. This allows for the opportunity to share any pressing matters that have occurred recently.
The rest of the session will focus on the therapy goals created in the intake session.
Payment is due at time of service.
