What Do Sessions Look Like?

Intake Session:

  • Please have all paperwork finished prior to your intake session so I can streamline this process as much as possible!

  • Intake session will include a personal and family history interview, a brief overview of the therapy process, and a chance for you to ask any questions about working with me.

  • If the intake is for a minor (an individual under the age of 18), I do request that both the minor and at least one parent/guardian attend the intake session. The input from both with be helpful as I get to know you!

  • Therapy goals will be established taking input from both the intake paperwork and the interview. These will guide the work we do in our regular sessions.

Regular Sessions:

  • Sessions are 50 minutes in length.

  • I usually begin with a brief check-in of how things have been going since the last session. This allows for the opportunity to share any pressing matters that have occurred recently.

  • The rest of the session will focus on the therapy goals created in the intake session.

  • Payment is due at time of service.
